The last bell rings and she’s outta there
Gotta race home before her problems get there first
Once she’s there she doesn’t know what else to do, but pace in her room
The stereo pouring out sound in the background, as if they speak of her emotions
But she’s not really listening
Theres nothing to do and nowhere to go, the problemed parents have come home, and won’t allow her out of their hell hole she helped create
Another argument boils to the surface and never recoils
